Late Type Hammers with the drawing number on the face. This type was used on most WWII production.
The drawing numbers can get you close to determining which hammer your rifle most likely had. Springfield was
very bad about putting newer production on top and using it first. I have encountered 3SA hammers being used on new
production, HRA, IHC and SA in the early 1950's.
